I know I have been slacking and missed posting a couple of
days. Life is getting hectic as Josh and
I try and make plans for this coming year (which is nearly impossible as all we
can do is play out scenarios according to how the Army cooperate) and trying to
get the house in order for the new baby, which I am getting more and more
anxious for. As of today I am 34 weeks,
which means we are five weeks away from the c-section. So the reality of all that needs to be done
is hitting me. Speaking of which, if
anyone in the Clarksville area is interested I have an antique coffee table and
side table made of solid wood that I am trying to find a home for. Both are in good condition and they are one
of the few items that were saved and restored after the fire. They do not smell like smoke at all and I
hate to part with them, but when we lost everything my parents brought us their
furniture and now we just don’t have room for these antique items anymore. If you are interested, contact me and I can
even send you pictures. They are worth a
bit of money so I don’t want to just donate them, but would be happy with $50
for the set although they are worth a lot more than that. Wow, didn’t mean to turn this post into an
add, so you can see where my mind is at.
Still contracting pretty regularly, but so far it still is not making
any changes to my cervix so that is positive.
I have been doing a lot of research on depression and natural ways to
help manage it, and talked it over with Josh and he has agreed to try taking
fish oil and doing the zone diet (which was suggested many times for depression
which consists of 1/3 meat and 2/3 fruits and veggies every meal) we are going
to try this for six weeks, as that is the time it takes for a medication to
take affect and see if it has any bearing on how he is doing. I think we are both dreading the limitations
a little bit, but I am excited to see the possible outcome. Well, this post was just a vomit of
information, so thanks for reading!
Oooo, I want the tables. But then I think of all the kiddos here and their power of destruction. Do you think Philip would be cool with me buying tables to keep in the basement until my kids are old and grown? Probably not! Glad to see you posted. Can't wait to talk to you.
ReplyDeleteWith that diet, will he be able to come off the meds and see how it goes? Wishing lots of uck, i know diet and exercise are a huge part of helping depression!
ReplyDeleteYay for a decision about the job!!!
Laura

DeleteI have heard a lot of good things about the zone diet! I've had people tell me it has made an incredible difference with depression! Good luck!
